To get a realistic price for T-shirt bags with a logo, define several technical parameters from the start. They affect not only cost, but also packaging convenience, handle strength, and the final print appearance.
1. Bag size
Retail usually works with standard formats. Consider not only product width and length, but also volume allowance. If the product fits too tightly, the handles carry more load and the bag is less convenient.
The OPENPACK calculator supports typical parameters for a quick preliminary estimate: width 30 or 40 cm, length 48 or 53 cm.
2. Film thickness
Thickness is selected by product weight and usage scenario. Light goods often need 30 microns, universal tasks usually use 40 microns, and heavier purchases may require 50 microns.
3. Material: HDPE or LDPE
HDPE has a matte surface and a characteristic rustle, while LDPE looks smoother and softer. If you need a transparent bag or a glossier brand impression, consider LDPE. If you need a practical white bag for mass retail, HDPE is often the starting point.
4. Printing and artwork
Before production, the logo must be prepared in sufficient quality. A simple branded bag often needs a logo, contacts, QR code, or a short slogan. The more colors and print sides, the more important accurate artwork preparation becomes.
5. Run size
Run size affects the unit price. Part of the cost belongs to print setup, so a very small run is usually less efficient. For a first estimate, compare several options: minimum run, average run, and planned stock.
